New homes at Harthill Road, Liverpool

In August 2016, Redrow Homes in partnership with Liverpool City Council submitted a planning application
and listed building consent for new homes on land off Harthill Road (Planning application reference 16F/2049).

We are holding an information exhibition to provide interested parties an opportunity to see the plans in
more detail and to ask any questions they might have. The exhibition will take place on

Wednesday 25th January 2017, between 2pm and 8pm, at Calder Kids on Harthill Road.

Where is the proposed development site located?

The site is located off Harthill Road and adjacent to the north western edge of Calderstones Park.

The proposed development site is not publicly accessible and does not form part of the Park. The proposed site does not include the allotments or the woodland riding trail.

Why is the Site being Developed?

The Council is committed to providing better and more sustainable facilities for Beechley Stables, Calder Kids and the Miniature Railway. To achieve this it will be necessary to develop their site to raise the required capital to fund the relocation of the organisations into new and better facilities.

What is happening to the facilities?

These are being relocated to new and improved facilities. The Miniature Railway is proposed to be moved into Calderstones Park, Calder Kids to a purpose built special school and Beechley Stables to the former pet’s corner at Clarke Gardens.
