The site is located off Harthill Road and adjacent to the north western edge of Calderstones Park.
The proposed development site is not publicly accessible and does not form part of the Park. The proposed site does not include the allotments or the woodland riding trail.

The masterplan proposes 39 new build detached and mews homes.
Refurbishment of Beechley House and Beechley Stables will include 6 luxury apartments, 2 duplex, 3 mews properties and 1 self-contained detached bungalow.
The Council is committed to providing better and more sustainable facilities for Beechley Stables, Calder Kids and the Miniature Railway. To achieve this it will be necessary to develop their site to raise the required capital to fund the relocation of the organisations into new and better facilities.
These are being relocated to new and improved facilities. The Miniature Railway is proposed to be moved into Calderstones Park, Calder Kids to a purpose built special school and Beechley Stables to the former pet’s corner at Clarke Gardens.
